a long-time writer who connects with stories about people; their fears and their challenges. Rural settings with her own enthusiasm for horses are interwoven together with her interest in how the mind works – and sometimes, how it doesn’t.
Once a teacher, dog trainer and instructor, painting and drawing and listening to Pavorotti, Andrea Boccelli and Rachmaninov, she has also written and published Forgotten People, 1,000 Years of a Lincolnshire Parish’s local history, but her real passion is in constructing crime stories that excite, thrill and carry a message.
As a victim of an attack as a teenager and living with and caring for a brother suffering with schizophrenia; those experiences have been incorporated into the characters of Don’t Be Frightened.
Lately, together with an active German Shepherd and her horse, she now lives close to a Norfolk forest; the backdrop of a second crime story.
